I am a leading expert in prostate MRI and inventor of the Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System (PI-RADS), which has become the global standard for prostate MRI. My academic journey began with my medical degree in 1980. I was Professor of Radiology at Radboudumc for 26 years until my academic retirement.
My current work at Andros Clinics focuses on integrating MRI into prostate cancer diagnostics to improve patient outcomes, and reduce unnecessary painful procedures. I also aim to minimize side effects of treatment.
